Amarnath Yatra 2021 Registration Form

Step-By-Step Registration Procedure for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2021

Step-by-Step Procedure for Shri Amarnath Yatra Registration at Designated Bank Branches in 2021. The Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2021 will begin on June 28th and finish on August 22nd.

  • Yatra Permit (YP) registration and issuance are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Yatri registration begins on a set date at all Bank Branches.
  • One Yatra Permit is only good for one Yatri registration.
  • For registering the Yatris, each Registration Branch has been given a daily/route quota. The Registration Branch makes sure that the total amount of Yatris registered does not meet the daily/route limit.
  • No one under the age of 13 or over the age of 75, nor any woman who is more than six weeks pregnant, can participate in the Yatra.
  • To receive a Yatra Permit, each Yatri must apply an Application Form along with a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC). SASB makes the Enrollment Application Process and Obligatory Health Credential Formats accessible online. The list of approved institutions / doctors who may issue Compulsory Health Certificates (CHC) for the Shri Amarnath Yatra is revised on a regular basis and made available online.
  • The Registration Division can make the Application Form and CHC available to Applicant Yatri at no cost.
  • The Applicant-Yatri may send the following documentation to the Registration Officer in order to apply for the Yatra Permit:
    • a full and signed Application Form; and
    • Authorized Doctor/Medical Institution issues a Prescribed Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) on or after the designated date.
    • Photographs the size of passports (three for Yatra Permits and one for the Application form).
  • The following things are reviewed by the Registry Officer:
    • if the Applicant-Yatri has correctly filled out and signed the Application Form;
    • if the CHC was provided by an Approved Doctor/Medical Facility;
    • if the CHC was given before or after a certain date
  • Yatra Permits with the letters BALTAL for the Baltal Route and PAHALGAM for the Pahalgam Route will be issued by the Registration Official. The Registration Officer issues Yatra Permits according to the colour coding shown below for each day and route last year:
DayColour of Yatra Permit for Pahalgam RouteColour of Yatra Permit for Baltal Route
MondayLavenderLemon Chiffon
TuesdayPink LaceBlue
WednesdayBeigeHoneydew
ThursdayPeachLavender
FridayLemon ChiffonPink Lace
SaturdayBlueBeige
SundayHoneydewPeach
  • The Yatra Permit specifies the day on which a pilgrim is registered to participate in the Yatra (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The Yatri would be permitted to cross the Access Control Gates at Baltal and Chandanwari on the day printed on the Yatra Permit (Pahalgam).
  • Until issuing the Yatra Permit to the Yatri, the Bank Branch must ensure that the date on which the Yatra Permit is given for crossing the Access Control Gates corresponds to the day (i.e., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) printed on the Yatra Permit.
  • The Yatra year and date are pre-printed on the Yatra Permit Forms. As a result, the issuing Bank Branch would stamp / write the Shri Amarnath Yatra year and year and paste the date and year with a clear paper (pasting of transparent tape is important in order to make the date and year of Yatra tamper-proof). The stamping of the year, year, and bank branch, on the other hand, must be performed only when the Yatra Permit is issued. Any Yatra Permit should never be stamped in advance. This element should be positively assured.
  • If the Application Form and CHC are in order, the Registration Officer may grant a YP to the claimant in exchange for a payment (last year it was Rs 50/-) per Yatra Permit (of the aforesaid number, Rs.35/- was remitted in SASB’s account and the remainder sum shall be retained by the Bank), after the measures outlined in paragraphs 15-17.
  • The Registration Officer can attach passport-size photographs and fill out the Yatra Permit Form on the spot, according to the information provided in the Application Form and CHC. The Yatra’s date must also be properly entered.
  • The Registration Officer must report the following information before granting the Yatra Permit to the applicant-Yatri:
    • The date on which the Yatra Permit was given.
    • The Yatra Permit Serial Number.
    • Yatri’s name, address, and phone/mobile number are mentioned below.
    • Name in applicant-next-of-kin, Yatri’s who will be called in the event of an emergency.
    • The pilgrimage route.
    • Date of departure from Baltal/Pahalgam for the Yatra.
  • Every day, the Registration Bank e-mails SASB at [email protected] full information about the Yatra Permits given that day, including the specifics mentioned in paragraph 17.
  • Every day, by 8 p.m., the Nodal Officer/Nodal Bank Branch will count the total number of Yatra Permits given (Bank Branch- and State-wise) throughout the day and submit the status to the SASB, date- and route-wise. Every day, this condition must be fulfilled and e-mailed to SASB.
  • After the Registration procedure is completed, the Registration Branch will forward all Application Forms and CHCs for which YPs have been given to the CEO, SASB.
  • After the Registration Process is finished, the individual divisions will return all unused (blank) Yatra Permit Forms to the Nodal Officer via Registered Mail. The Nodal Officer would then hand deliver it to the SASB’s CEO.
  • After regular banking hours, the Yatris may be registered at the Registering Branch.
