The National Testing Agency (NTA) has said that the deferred sessions of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) -Main will be held at 282828 centers of all sessions instead of the previous 660, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said.

Exams will be held from 20 to 25 July and from 27 July to 2 August.

The results of both sessions are expected to be announced in August.

According to an NTA document shared by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, candidates applying for “Session 3 (April 2021) (Postponed) BE / BTech Paper I” can revise their details from July 6 to July 8.

Submission of online application form for “Session 4 (May 2021) (Postponed) BE / BTech Paper 1 and B Arch (Paper 2A) B Planning (Paper 2B)” will be from 2nd to 12th July.

The total number of candidates already registered for the April session is 6.80 lakh and for the May session is 6.09 lakh, Parashar said.

The first two sessions of JEE-Main 2021 were already completed in February and March.

After announcing the dates, Pokhriyal said the safety, security and bright future of the students is the priority of the government.

“During Kovid, there were some concerns among students about the #JEE (Main) -2021 exam. Prime Minister Narendra Modiji has always said that the safety, security and bright future of our students should be the top priority of the Ministry of Education.” Said in a tweet.

Admission to engineering colleges is held four times a year from the current academic session affected by coronavirus to provide relief for JEE-MAIN students and the opportunity to improve their marks.

This year, the examination authority is giving students a choice of answers to 90 out of 90 (30 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) questions (25 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). Merit list / ranking will be prepared based on the best score of the candidates.

JEE Main 2021 has also been conducted in 13 languages ​​including Hindi, English, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
