Delhi Government Schools 2021 Admission: The application process for admission in classes 6 to 9 in government schools in Delhi will start today – June 11 at 5 pm. The admission process will be held held online and will be done in two different cycles. The first cycle begins today. Interested persons can apply on the official website, edudel.nic.in till 5 pm on June 30.
The allotment list will be displayed on the official website on July 14. Those who could pass could submit documents for verification between July 19 and 31. Those who could not go through it will start the second cycle from July 23.
A minimum of six months of age relaxation, as well as a maximum age relaxation. Four years of rest comes at an upper age for physically different students. For admission in class 6, students should have completed 10 years of age but less than 12, age bracket for class 7 is 11 to 13 years, class 8 for 12 to 14 years and class 9 for 13 to 15 years. Relief, if applicable, will be offered above and beyond.

Admission will be confirmed only after submission and verification of documents. Requests to change the allotted school as per the rules will not be entertained after allotment.
Applicants will have to select the nearest school assembly constituency from their home in the drop-down menu. Parents need to record the number registered by the parents. It will also be sent to the applicants via SMS to the registered mobile number, however, one can take a printout of the form for future reference. If a seat is not available at a nearby school, a school outside the cluster will be allocated as per the rule.
