The Indian Army has invited online applications for the recruitment of unmarried male and female engineering graduates for its Short Service Commission (SSC) grant. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official portal joinindianarmy.nic.in on or before June 23.
A total of 175 vacancies have been declared for male candidates and 14 vacancies for female candidates for this recruitment drive. The course will start in October 2021 at the Offic Fishers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.
Indian Army SSC-Tech Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a BTech degree with a total score of at least 55%. Candidates who are in the final year of engineering degree course are also eligible to apply
Age limit: The minimum age of applicants should be 20 years and by October 1, 2021 it should not be more than 27 years. An official statement said it would only be accepted.

Step 1: Visit the official portal of Indian Army at joinindianarmy.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Official Admission Application / Login Gin’ tab under ‘Official Selection’.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page where you have to click the ‘Register’ link
Step 4: Fill in all the required details and register yourself. Once registered, proceed to the application link
Step 5: ‘Selection of Officers – A new page will open with’ Eligibility ‘
Step 6: Click on ‘Apply’ as shown against the Short Service Commission Technical Course and complete the application form
Step 7: Preview the details you specified and submit the application form. Also, download a copy of it for more reference.
Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2021: Salary
Candidates will get a monthly futures of Rs. 56,100 during the entire training period.
All applicants will be shortlisted for the interview round based on the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examinations. People who qualify for the interview round will be medically examined. Applicants declared medically fit by SSB will undergo training for 49 weeks at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. Upon completion of the pre-commission training, they will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Defense and Strategic Studies by the University of Madras. Candidates for short service commission will be appointed for an initial period of 10 years which can be extended for 4 years.
