Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, when introducing the state budget for 2021-22 in the legislative Assembly on March 8, 2021, claimed that he had not imposed any extra taxes on the general public. Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said that the government would work hard to complete the Peripheral Ring Road project, 65 kilometers long and 100 meters high.
While the second runway at the Kempegowda International Airport was constructed at the cost of Rs. 2,708 crore, construction on the second terminal, which is expected to cost Rs. 4,751 crores, is expected to be finished this year.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa declared funding to create 6,000 micro-enterprises for rural woman self-help groups under the ‘Sanjeevini’ program, which would profit 60,000 women.
