The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) said no decision has been taken yet on the 12th board exams, which were postponed in April due to unprecedented rise in Kovid-19 cases.

The notice circulating on social media claiming that the JAC 12th exam 2021 has been canceled, is fake, JAC said. It said the exam has not been canceled by the state government and a decision on the board exam will be taken soon after assessing the COVID-19 situation in the state.

The JAC has said that the Jharkhand Board has yet to take a decision on the Jharkhand Class 12 board exam 2021.

The June 3, 2021 notice in the official language and style of the JAC logo has gone viral on social media. Releasing the clarification, the Jharkhand Board said, “The JAC 12th exam 2021 has not been canceled and the notice that went viral on social media platforms is fake. Jharkhand’s 12th board exam is yet to be decided on 2021. “

Another rumor is spreading on social media with the claim that the notice to cancel JAC’s 12th exam 2021 has been published on JAC’s official website. The board has now clarified that the website mentioned is fake, and therefore no one should consider it as an official website.

The board has urged the students not to panic and believe any fake news and rumors. He asked the students and other concerned persons to check the official website (jac.jhar volume. Gov.in) for all the official updates of JAC 12th Exam 2021.

The JAC had postponed the Class 12 examination on April 17. While postponing the exam, the council said it would review the COVID-19 situation on June 1 to make a further decision. Earlier board exams were to be held from May 4 to May 21.

Participating in a meeting convened by the central government on Class 12 board exams, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said in May that it would not be appropriate to hold the exams in the state in view of the current COVID-19 situation.
