The Rajasthan government on Wednesday approved setting up of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy colleges in six districts, including Jaipur, a state minister said. Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that Ayurveda has proved its importance during the ongoing coronavirus epidemic.
He said that the state government is making all efforts to promote Ayurveda and develop facilities related to it. Integrated colleges will be set up in Jaipur, Kota, Sikar, Bikaner and Bharatpur, Sharma said.
He said approval has been given for setting up a government college of yoga and naturopathy in Udaipur. The Minister said that with the establishment of new colleges, new employment opportunities would be created for the educated youth of the state.
He added that 778 new academic and non-academic posts have also been approved for creation.
