Visva-Bharati pre-degree exams to be held online from July 5

KOLKATA: Amid epidemic situation, various boards are pushing for cancellation or postponement of 10th and 12th exams, Visva-Bharati University on Thursday announced that its two school lesson spirit and pre-degree exams for the academic session will be held online from July. The Viva-Voice exams will be taken online and then the school certificate exams will be taken, the notice said.

The two exams are similar to the final board exams of 10th and 12th class for Visva-Bharati students.

Both schools under Visva-Bharati University offer pre-degree (10 + 2) courses in Science and Humanities.

When the external residential students get admission in the Path Bhavan, the external day scholars go to the Shiksha session.

However, unlike the millions of candidates appearing for the secondary and higher secondary examinations, the number of students in the two Visva-Bharati schools will not be more than 200, a university official said.
